Chief Special Warfare Operator (ret.) Michael Meoli
One of our own, and a member of our planning group, Chief Special Warfare Operator (ret) Michael Meoli never stopped serving the cause of freedom. In the Ukraine he taught and rendered emergency and battle wound care and worked alongside his Ukrainian comrades. While in Ukraine he was involved in a fatal vehicle accident in Kiev. We honored him for his service and friendship in 2025. We will never forget him and what he did for us, for his country, and for the people of Ukraine.
Thank you for the condolences you sent. They meant a lot to the family.
A fellow diver reminded us of an old Irish song called The Parting Glass. Here is the passage that he sent to us and seemed to fit so well;
So fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate’er befalls
Then gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
If you’ve a mind to, Mike’s favorite was Jameson’s (I could never seem to keep it in the house when we got together). Pour 2 glasses, one for yourself and one for Mike. The salute is “Budmo! Slainte! Hooyah!” in whatever order you’d like.
With much love and respect and on behalf of all involved, Thank you.

Mike was a very much part of this monument. His input and ideas were valued. He will be missed.
Next time you have a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey, remember Mike and give him a toast.
